Major position responsibilities

  • Support planning and timely realization of scientific instrumentation projects and upgrades
  • Provide effective interface management between scientific instrumentation, beam delivery, and supporting system
  • Oversee and support the integration of new instruments or modifications of existing devices
  • Oversee and coordinate installation and maintenance activities across different experimental areas
  • Interface with accelerator systems and conventional facilities system owners to maintain integration across functional areas
  • Guide and support integrated procedure development for the operation of scientific instrumentation and associated technical systems.
  • Deliver assigned scope, cost, and schedule within approved baselines
  • Maintain Experimental Systems Division interface control documentation
  • Ensure system compliance with Environment, Safety, and Health (ES&H) and Quality Assurance requirements
