Postdoctoral Position in Neutron Induced Reactions for Astrophysics
Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate position at the Nuclear Physics Group of the University of Edinburgh. The successful candidate is expected to support the experimental programme related to neutron induced reaction measurements planned at international accelerator facilities, funded by the ERC Starting Grant project DoRES (Direct measurements of key nuclear Reactions for the creation of Elements in Stars).
The position is available from 1st May 2020 for a duration of 2 years.
The successful applicant will have or will be about to obtain a PhD in Nuclear (Astro)Physics or a related discipline. Prior experience in nuclear reaction measurements, in particular of neutron induced reactions, and related data analysis techniques is advantageous. Your application should include a motivation letter, a CV, and details of two referees that can be approached.

Salary: £33,797- £40,322 per annum
