A postdoctoral position for 3+2 years will be associated to the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics (new Max-Planck Fellow group “Theoretical Nuclear Astrophysics and the origin of heavy elements in the Universe”.) The project will focus on nucleosynthesis calculations considering latest experimental and theoretical nuclear physics developments and will support and motivate future experiments. The candidate should have a physics PhD (or equivalent) and background on nuclear astrophysics and nucleosynthesis.
