Member - FRIB Users Organization Executive Committee

We will be holding our elections for three new members of the FRIB Users Organization Executive Committee, each to serve a three year term beginning in January 2020.  Two of these new members will be General Members and one will be a member of the Operations Subcommittee that has a familiarity with running at NSCL/MSU. The new members will replace outgoing General members Carl Brune and Catherine Deibel, and outgoing Operations Subcommittee member Kelly Chipps. 
 
In advance of the election, we are requesting nominations from the general membership.  Members can nominate colleagues (members of the Users Organization) to be candidates for these positions. Members who are nominated by at least 15 current members of the Users Organization, with nominations coming from at least 3 different institutions, will be placed on the ballot. The Executive Committee also has a Nominating Committee that will select candidates to provide a complete ballot. 
 
Please send your nominations for these positions by Wednesday, November 27, 2019 to the Chair of the Executive Committee, Heather Crawford (LBNL), at the address hlcrawford@lbl.gov, and please indicate the position (General Member or Operations Subcommittee) for each of the member(s) you nominate. 
 
Election ballots will be sent out for electronic voting in early December, once the slate of candidates is complete.
