Technical Professional in Experimental Physics

We are seeking a Technical Professional to provide technical support for Experimental Nuclear Physics research in the Physics Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).  The Physics Division seeks to provide outstanding leadership research for the Nation in fundamental physical science. Our focus is in the areas of Fundamental Symmetries, Nuclear Structure Physics, Nuclear Astrophysics, Theoretical Physics, High Energy Physics, Heavy Ion Collisions, and Advanced Radiation Detector Development. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved with a vibrant research program that performs experiments at accelerator facilities around the world to study nuclear properties and reactions, as well as participate in the development of associated radiation detection technologies for next generation nuclear solutions needed by the nation and the world.
