JINA-CEE junior researcher Michael Pajkos delivered a talk at TEDx organized by Michigan State University on March 27 2019. Mike's talk focuses on his area of study ---core collapse supernovae--- and how they play a role in speeding up the chemical evolution of the universe. He discusses how events that take place trillions of miles away have a profound influence on the one thing we all have in common: the human condition. Mike is a graduate researcher currently pursuing his PhD in Astrophysics and High Performance Computing at Michigan State University.
