Zach Meisel, professor at Ohio University and member of JINA-CEE, gives an online seminar on " Nuclear Thermostats: Urca Pairs in Accreting Neutron Star Oceans and Crusts ". This talk was given on September 23 2016 in the scope of the JINA-CEE online seminar on neutron stars and dense matter which is hosted by Ingo Tews and Sanjay Reddy from the University of Washington and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Astrophysics -- Center for the Evolution of the Elements.

Xilin Zhang's JINA-CEE online seminar on "Hot and dense matter beyond relativistic mean field theory"

Xilin Zhang, currently research associate at the University of Washington, gives an online seminar on "Hot and dense matter beyond relativistic mean field theory". This talk was given on May 6 2016 in the scope of the JINA-CEE online seminar on neutron stars and dense matter which is hosted by Ingo Tews and Sanjay Reddy from the University of Washington.

David Radice's JINA-CEE online seminar on "Double Neutron Star Mergers"

Neutron star mergers are among the most violent events in the Universe. They are one of the targets of the nascent gravitational-wave astronomy and could be linked with a number of possible electromagnetic transients. In this talk, David Radice discusses recent results from numerical simulations of neutron star mergers, focusing on their gravitational-wave signature, the evolution of the merger remnant, and the dynamical ejection of neutron rich material.

Chris Sullivan's JINA-CEE Online Seminar on The Sensitivity of Core-collapse Supernovae to Nuclear Electron Capture

Chris Sullivan, PhD Student at NSCL/MSU and member of JINA-CEE, gives an online seminar on "The Sensitivity of Core-collapse Supernovae to Nuclear Electron Capture". This talk was given on April 8 2016 in the scope of the JINA-CEE online seminar on neutron stars and dense matter which is hosted by Ingo Tews and Sanjay Reddy from the University of Washington and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Astrophysics -- Center for the Evolution of the Elements.

Alessandro Roggero's JINA-CEE Online Seminar on "Thermal Conductivity and Impurity Scattering in the Accreting Neutron Star Crust"

Alessandro Roggero, currently at the University of Washington, gives an online seminar on "Thermal conductivity and impurity scattering in the accreting neutron star crust". This talk was given on March 11, 2016 in the scope of the JINA-CEE online seminar on neutron stars and dense matter which is hosted by Ingo Tews and Sanjay Reddy from the University of Washington.

Maxime Brodeur's JINA-CEE Online Seminar on "Mass Measurements for Nuclear Astrophysics"
